Investing in All Our Futures
More than just a scholarship program, our leadership development program gives qualified young people a chance to meet their potential in ways they'd never dreamed. Our program will begin in the 2007 academic year. Our partners in this initiative are: Adams State College-Alamosa, Colorado State University-Pueblo, Fort Lewis College-Durango, Mesa State College-Grand Junction and Montrose, and Western Sate College-Gunnison.
More Than a Scholarship
Our leadership development program is much more than a college scholarship. The select group of state colleges will provide a challenging leadership education curriculum. But our program will also include mentoring, internships, Outward Bound programs, and various community service projects designed to develop well rounded community leaders. The return on investment is years away, but we believe this is one of the best ways to help secure the future of our communities.
